Just days before we left for Utah to go to Grandpa's funeral my daughter's carpool came by to pick her up for school. Just as we opened the door, Jaime (the carpool driver that week) yelled close the door. We didn't react quick enough and a lizzard came flying into the home. It scampered across the living room to a bookcase and attemped to climb up the case. It only got up to the second shelf and fell off. It then ran across the living room to the front window drapery. In the meantime Emilee went running/screaming from the room in tears. I had to physically pick her up and take her outside because she was not going anywhere near the living room while the lizzard was still in the house. After Emilee went to school I shook the drapes and the lizzard fell to the floor. I did not see the lizzard again for a few days. I was on the other end of the home cleaning up behind the couch in the family room where we have a little play area for the kids. I picked up a Barbie ballet dress of Emilee's while I was on the phone with Robert. All of a sudden this lizzard jumps out. I screamed and dropped the phone and the phone disconnected. Talk about shock. Zach came running through the house to see what was going on. Luckily Emilee was at school and missed the commotion. I did not see where the lizzard went after that. Then we went to Utah for 5 days and when we got home I did not see or hear from the lizzard for days. Then on Monday Emilee saw the lizzard running towards the refrigerator. We tried to take a picture but that darn lizzard is way too fast. It ran to our den and then back to the living room under the couch. Later that day it was running down our hall and Robert caught it by the tail and showed it the back door. We finally got a picture of our pet lizzard once it was safely in the backyard.
Hello family and friends. We hope you check back here often to see how we are fairing down here in the Valley of the Sun.

Lizzard
Ok, so I feel like I've been out of touch for the last few weeks. Things have been so crazy since Grandpa passed away. It's funny now that I've been blogging for a while that when things happen in life I start thinking of ways to include the incident in the blog. So here is the lizzard story.

ROFL Debi that is hilariously funny, We have a lizard that is our "outside" pet. Every time we go outside, Levi asks to if he can look for him. Well it had been about a month since we have seen him and just the other day I was sitting on the love seat by the window, and Levi says, "look mom, there is Bob!" I looked and jumped out of my skin, simply because I didnt expect to see the stinkin thing on my window, (on the outside) I managed to get pics of his tail and that is about it. They move too stinking fast!! Get Emilee to name him, it will be the best pet you ever had! ***GRIN***
Debi, that is too funny!
