Robert, Emilee, and my Dad all have birthdays in December right around Christmas time. How crazy is that? So around our house we have a lot of birthday cake and ice cream along with the other treats that go along with Christmas. I am really praying that is the reason the kids sleep schedules are so off around here. It will be nice to get back to normal life again.
Emilee's b-day was on the 20th and she got the crown she is wearing at school. We went to Peter Piper Pizza (her choice) for dinner on her birthday and she had to wear the crown the whole night (again her choice). One of her gifts was a scooter. There was one very happy/excited girl around our house when she opened that gift. For some reason Robert's birthday does not get the same fanfare as Emilee's. At least he picked a better restaurant. We went to the macaroni & cheese and peanut place aka Texas Roadhouse. My cousin Barb watched the kids that afternoon and we were actually able to leave all the kids for a few hours and see a movie. What fun!!! We don't get to celebrate my Dad's birthday with him down in Arizona, but I still wanted to acknowledge him. That being said, Happy Birthday Emilee, Dad & Robert!!!
