Summer update

So much has happened in the last couple months so I decided to do the slide thing to show some of the "goings on" in our family over the summer. The kids took swim lessons in our pool during the month of June and did very well. Zach is now making his way half way across our pool when he swims from the step to me. Emilee's diving has improved since last year. We had a good time in Utah visiting family and checking out some of the sights. Alyssa hit her 9 month mark while we were there. She is now standing and she has even started cruising around the furniture the past few days. I am so in trouble.

Zach turned the big 3 today and had a really good day. All he asked for his birthday was for streamers on the door and to go to the car wash. We played the wii tonight and he couldn't have asked for anything more....except for more cake. (He wanted it for breakfast, crazy boy!)

Emilee started Kindergarten on Wednesday. She's at school for just under 7 hours a day and she loves every minute of it. We walked home from school on Wednesday when it was a 108 degree day and we all about died from heat exhaustion. We all had waters that were completely gone about 3/4ths of the way home. We immediately called our friends and invited them over to swim. We spent almost 2 hours in the pool recovering after that walk. I now park at my friends house that is around the corner from the school and walk over to the school so we won't faint out there in the heat. Hopefully things will cool down in about 6 weeks so we can walk again. Crazy weather!!!
