I realize my title is from a "winter" song, but I wanted to share a picture of a home that is just a couple blocks away that was struck by lightening. I was awakened by a helicopter that was circling over our house from 2:00 am to 3:00 am. From what I hear the teenage son heard some crackling sounds from the attic at 2:00 am and woke up his Dad. By 2:30 am the roof had collapsed. There were 6 people in the house and they all got out. It makes you stop and think...would I (and my family) know what to do if there was an emergency? What things would I grab on my way out of the house? Pretty scary!!
