Emilee is so excited to have a little sister. Everyday we have to count how many days are left before the baby comes. She also wants to know how many days until Grandma Astle will be here. She's been out of school this past week due to fall break and parent teacher conferences. It's been so hard for her because she just wants to go to school. Luckily she has had several play dates this past week to keep her occupied. I don't know how we are going to survive the summer. She gets to go back to class today and she couldn't be more excited. I met with her teacher yesterday and she said that she thinks that Emilee is smarter than she is letting on. She pays real close attention, but she refuses to raise her hand in class. Anybody out there have any ideas on how I can get my daughter to participate?
I had my final doctor's appointment yesterday prior to having this baby. The whole family joined me for this visit. Zach has been to every appointment with me so he is an old pro at this now. The nurse came in to take my blood pressure and Zach asked "What's that?" I told him it was to take my blood pressure. He attempted to say blood pressure, but totally mangled the words. The nurse and I started laughing. Luckily she already got the reading because I hate that death squeeze from those cuffs. When the doctor came in and listened to the heart beat it took a while because the baby would move every time she would find the beat. When she finished up and started wiping the gel off, Zach proclaimed, "All done. Bye bye". We all started laughing, including my doctor.

Not much longer. That is so exciting. Good luck with everything.
Are you being induced?
Nope. I have to go the c-section route because it doesn't seem to work the other way.
If my calculations are correct (meaning, if I can count 6 days from the date you posted this), then you should be having your baby tomorrow. So I wanted to tell you Good Luck! Can't wait to see pictures!
I heard yesterday that you had a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations Debi and Family!
