On Tuesday night Robert and Emilee went out shopping and picked out a pumpkin to carve. Emilee totally got into going through the pumpkin guts to fish out the seeds so her Grandma could bake the seeds.
Robert got to take the kids out trick-or-treating. He said they both got into saying trick-or-treat and thank you. They were finally ready to come home when their pumpkins were filled to the very top and it was too heavy to carry.
When they got home Emilee sat at the front door so she could hand out the candy to the trick-or-treaters.
The kids came home with way too much candy.
We decided to put the costume on Alyssa that Emilee wore her first Halloween. It's still pretty big, but it should fit perfectly next year.
Here's our attempt at a family photo op. We just can't get Zach to sit still for anything these days. This was the best picture out of the five we took because Zach is still sitting on the chair. Oh well.

Happy Halloween!

That is sweet! Your kids are soo cute! How is Alyssa? Is she a good baby for you? Did your mom come down and help out at all? Mom's are great for that!
Good luck with your battle with the candy! I am here for ya! we can do this together! LOL
That comic strip made me laugh. Having kids awake way too late seems to be a common occurrence at our house these days; but we are starting to crack down. It is just hard to be consistent sometimes.
