7 Random Facts About Me

So Rhonda tagged me to do this (thanks a lot Rhonda…via Coco…via Gardner). I figure I better hurry and do this or there will be no family remaining left to tag if I wait too long.

1. I’ve started writing a children’s book. It’s actually turned into a series of books. So if anyone has any connections with a publisher, please hook me up.

2. For some crazy insane reason I have to have at least 4 projects going at one time. No I can’t be normal and start one thing and finish it, then start the next thing and finish it. I have to jump around from one thing to another and finish nothing. This is my life and I need an intervention.

3. I am so excited for the day after Thanksgiving to go shopping. I am one of those that loves to shop on black Friday. I don’t need snow to feel like it’s Christmas, I need to surround myself with crazy shoppers at an obscene hour of the morning looking for the best deals ever to start my Christmas season right.

4. To stay on the subject of Christmas, since we are nearing that holiday, I also have to make almond roca or it just does not feel like the holidays to me.

5. My favorite favorite favorite song ever is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing the “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. It brings tears to my eyes every time.

6. My biggest fear is speaking in public. I would rather do anything (well almost anything) than speak in front of a group of people.

7. I have a huge collection of Hard Rock Café bears on the planter shelf in my family room. I am married to a man that has an even bigger collection of Hard Rock Café shirts in our closet. Some of these bears/shirts have been collected by other people that know of our collection. (i.e. We have bears from Iceland, London, etc. that we have never visited, but we thank those that have contributed to our collection over the years.)
