The Official First Bath

Years from now my daughter may hate me for these pictures, but I think they represent our little Alyssa quite accurately. So here we have the first "real" bath after the umbilical cord fell off.


First there is the shocked look because the water is a little cooler than she prefers. The second picture is the mad picture because the soapy water has just been drained out and the rinse water has not yet been replaced in the tub. She has since learned the routine and we don't get the mad face until we are removing her from the tub. This girl likes her baths.

I love this picture of her sleeping. It appears that she is doing the actions to "I'm a little teapot" in her sleep. I have pictures of Emilee in the same pose when she was less than 2 months old. Gotta love it.
